Jason Arday resigned as professor of sociology of education at the University of Cambridge earlier this month. The university stated it provided mental health support, panic alarms, and mail screening after his resignation. Arday, appointed at age 37 as the institution's youngest Black professor, was pronounced dead after emergency services responded to his Battersea home on Friday.
