Four members of the banned group Palestine Action received prison sentences totaling more than 20 years after a Woolwich Crown Court jury convicted them of criminal damage at the Elbit Systems UK facility in Bristol. The May convictions followed a raid that caused over £1 million in damage, with one defendant also found guilty of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a police officer. Judge Jeremy Johnson cited a terrorism connection as an aggravating factor in the June 2024 sentencing.
