NOAA satellite imagery and National Weather Service advisories confirm Tropical Storm Moke is advancing toward Hawaii with its center expected to pass south of the islands, bringing heavy rain to the Big Island and eastern Maui through Monday. Hurricane Lala was downgraded to a tropical storm and is moving northwest without having made landfall, after depositing more than 30 inches of rain in some areas.
