Three people died and one survived after being found in a home in Mountainair, New Mexico, east of Albuquerque, on Wednesday. More than a dozen first responders became ill with nausea and dizziness after direct contact with the victims and were quarantined. Authorities identified fentanyl and methamphetamine at the scene on Friday, with Steve McLaughlin stating symptoms were consistent with fentanyl exposure via inhalation or mucous membranes.
