State-run retailers increased petrol prices by 0.87 Rs per litre and diesel prices by 0.91 Rs per litre on Saturday, bringing Delhi rates to 99.51 Rs and 92.49 Rs per litre respectively. These adjustments follow earlier hikes of 3 Rs on May 15 and approximately 0.90 Rs on May 19. The rupee has weakened nearly 6 percent since the start of the year to 95.6 Rs per US dollar.
