Hindustan Times and The Hindu report that RAF personnel received pellet guns on July 20, fired two ballistic cartridges containing plastic pellets along with other munitions, and withdrew the guns by July 23. At least four individuals sustained pellet injuries, including 19-year-old Sahil Lochab whose right eye pupil was pierced. Delhi Police denied pellet gun use while an internal RAF inquiry and general diary entry documented the firings.
