Quinta Brunson, creator and star of Abbott Elementary, is developing a theatrical feature film in which she will star as Betty Boop. The project is a partnership between her Fifth Chance Productions and Fleischer Studios, run by Max Fleischer's grandson Mark Fleischer. The film will examine the character's origins and evolution from the perspective of its creator.
