Framing Analysis
Rami Malek returned to the Cannes Film Festival with 'The Man I Love,' directed by Ira Sachs, in which he portrays a downtown New York performance artist during the late-1980s AIDS crisis. The film received an eight-minute standing ovation, and Malek compared the role to his performance as Freddie Mercury in 'Bohemian Rhapsody.'
