A nine-year-old boy disappeared after a wave struck a stone and cement causeway in Shitang, Zhejiang province, on Friday afternoon while a typhoon warning and red alert were active. Rescuers continued searching on Sunday following the incident involving two adults and two children. China's national observatory had issued a red alert for Typhoon Dolphin, which later made landfall in the region.
