Framing Analysis
Rajendra Dawadi, headmaster of Tribhuvan Trishuli Secondary School in Bidur, Nepal, received a flood warning via a relative's phone call and evacuated more than 900 students and 16 faculty members with roughly 14 minutes to spare. The flood destroyed the school building, whose former site now lies in the riverbed, while killing over 900 people across the region with thousands missing. The event occurred against the backdrop of Nepal's recovery from the 2015 earthquake that killed around 9,000 people.
