Nancy Pelosi is partnering with the University of California, Berkeley to establish the Nancy Pelosi Institute for Representative Democracy, scheduled to launch in January. The nonpartisan institute will focus on four pillars including strengthening democratic institutions, and Pelosi will co-teach a course on Congress while having raised $35 million for the project. She represented San Francisco for nearly 40 years and is not seeking reelection.
