Vickrum Digwa, 23, was sentenced to a minimum of 21 years in prison for fatally stabbing Henry Nowak in Southampton following a mobile phone dispute. Kiran Kaur, Digwa's 53-year-old mother, was later sentenced to three years for removing the 21-centimeter ceremonial knife from the scene and storing it at the family home. Court records show Digwa made a false claim of racial abuse to police, and Nowak was handcuffed while dying.
