The House Oversight Committee conducted a May 29 interview with former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and previously took closed-door testimony from MCC prison guard Tova Noel as part of its review of the Justice Department's handling of Jeffrey Epstein-related materials. Noel, one of two guards on duty when Epstein died in 2019, stated she believes she was the last person to see him alive. Lawmakers have also urged the DOJ to investigate two men connected to Epstein.
