More than 1,500 cases of Cyclospora infection have been diagnosed in Michigan, linked to iceberg lettuce from central Mexico supplied to Taylor Farms and distributed to Taco Bell locations and other outlets. Taylor Farms issued a voluntary recall of 25 products shipped to 27 states, and Sysco halted distribution of affected items. U.S. health officials confirmed the parasite source through laboratory imaging and supply-chain tracing.
