Zambians voted on August 13, 2026, in a presidential election that also selected members of Parliament and local councilors. Approximately 8 million registered voters participated out of a national population of 22 million, with results scheduled for release on Monday. Incumbent Hakainde Hichilema, who took office in 2021 after defeating Edgar Lungu, faces 13 challengers including Brian Mundubile.
