Framing Analysis
Farmer Zach Lahn, backed by MAHA Action, narrowly defeated Trump-endorsed Randy Feenstra in the Iowa Republican primary for governor on Tuesday. Lahn received 37.79% of the vote to Feenstra's 37.01%, a margin of approximately 1,600 votes based on early Wednesday returns, after which Feenstra conceded. Lahn campaigned on Iowa's cancer rates and the role of large agricultural and pharmaceutical interests.
