WiseTech announced in late February that it would reduce its global workforce by nearly 2,000 roles, or almost 30 percent of its 7,000 employees across 40 countries. The company attributed the changes to AI advances and began the process in South Korea and Mexico. Internal communications used different wording for employees in China compared with other locations.
