Four CICPC officers were arrested in La Guaira state for allegedly looting cash from collapsed buildings following twin earthquakes that killed nearly 2,000 people, injured more than 10,000, and left tens of thousands missing. A three-year-old boy was rescued alive from rubble six days after the quakes. CICPC confirmed the arrests and disciplinary measures in an official statement.
