The New York Times reported, citing an internal State Department document, that the U.S. is preparing to restore staffing at embassies in Israel, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Oman, Iraq, and Kuwait. Returns could begin as early as this week, with full restoration planned for Israel, Jordan, and Oman and partial levels in Lebanon. The State Department stated it continuously reviews security postures and adjusts based on latest assessments.
