U.S. import prices rose 0.3 percent in June after a downwardly revised 1.7 percent gain in May, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported by CNA and CNBC. The 12-month increase reached 7.1 percent, the largest since August 2022. Fuel prices declined 0.4 percent monthly while core prices excluding food and fuels advanced 0.4 percent.
