The University of Cambridge will conduct an independent review of Jason Arday's 2022 appointment as professor of sociology of education and his subsequent time at the institution. Vice-chancellor Deborah Prentice informed staff of anger and anxiety surrounding the case after Arday resigned last week. The review will be led by senior academics from inside and outside Cambridge and will also examine senior appointment processes.
