The vote follows President Zelenskyy’s dismissal of predecessor Mykhailo Fedorov one month earlier. Fedorov, aged 35 and in office for seven months, released a video calling for a wartime presidential election, describing it as the most direct political challenge to Zelenskyy since the 2022 invasion.
