Uber opened an interest list on Monday for robotaxi rides in London using Wayve autonomous technology, with service expected in coming months pending regulatory approval. Initial operations will include a trained safety operator in Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles, priced identically to human-driven UberX, Comfort, or Electric rides, with riders able to decline autonomous matches. The company has partnered with more than 30 firms globally and reported millions of prior autonomous trips through those services.
