Uber Technologies and Zipline have formed a partnership that includes a strategic investment by Uber, with plans to integrate autonomous drone delivery into Uber Eats operations in the United States. Initial deliveries are scheduled to begin by the end of the year in Zipline's existing markets before expanding to additional cities, targeting one million daily deliveries by the end of 2029. Zipline has completed two million deliveries to date across four continents and maintains commercial relationships with retailers including Walmart.
