Two small U.S. businesses, Burlap Barrel and Collective Horology, sued the Trump administration over new tariffs of 10 to 12.5 percent on imports from 60 trading partners. The suit, filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade by the Liberty Justice Center, targets duties that took effect the same day a prior 10 percent global tariff expired. The tariffs followed USTR investigations under Section 301 of the 1974 Trade Act into forced-labor concerns.
