Donald Trump nominated Lance Schroyer, a former Oklahoma State Trooper and U.S. Marine with over 29 years of law enforcement experience, to serve as Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The announcement was made on Truth Social following the resignation of acting director Todd Lyons. Markwayne Mullin serves as Secretary of Homeland Security, and David Venturella is currently performing the duties of the ICE director.
