On Wednesday, the U.S. national debt surpassed $40 trillion while President Trump led a 40-minute press tour of White House South Lawn remodeling that included a new granite driveway, refurbished columns, and a helipad project. The helipad, announced in July and estimated at $5-6 million, is funded by Sikorsky (a Lockheed Martin subsidiary) with contributions directed to the National Park Service.
