The Supreme Court constituted a four-member committee on May 25 to conduct an independent review of the Centre's report on the definition and delineation of the Aravalli hill range. The Environment Ministry issued a press note inviting public representations from stakeholders in NCT states, with submissions due within 21 days via email or Google form and supported by documentary evidence. The committee, headed by Kanchan Devi and comprising former government officials, must submit its report by August 31.
