The U.S. Supreme Court ended a lawsuit filed in 2011 by Falun Gong members against Cisco Systems under the Alien Tort Statute. The Court reversed a lower appeals court decision that had allowed the case to proceed. Cisco, based in San Jose, California, denied the allegations that its technology aided Chinese government persecution of the group.
