Aaron F. Farinacci, 37, of Spokane, Washington, was arrested Monday and booked on suspicion of first-degree arson in connection with the Old Trails Fire. The fire is the largest of three blazes in the Spokane area that have destroyed at least 700 buildings and prompted evacuation of roughly 67,000 people. Authorities have not identified causes for the other two fires.
