Fifteen Indian tourists died after a speedboat carrying 32 Indian passengers and four Vietnamese crew members capsized less than 500 meters from shore near Phu Quoc on Saturday afternoon. Vietnamese police detained the 57-year-old captain, Nguyen Hong Hai, on Sunday for alleged violations of waterway safety regulations. Sixteen survivors have been discharged from hospital while one remains in critical condition.
