Spain Receives 1,174,978 Applications in Immigration Regularization Program Before June 30 Deadline

Spain's regularization scheme, launched in April by the Sánchez government, received 1,174,978 applications between mid-April and June 30, with more than 600,000 already processed. Latin American nationals accounted for 67 percent of submissions, led by Colombia at 25.9 percent, while African nationals represented 22.9 percent. Eight in ten applicants were under 45 years old and 57 percent were male.
