SpaceX reached an agreement to acquire Anysphere, developer of the Cursor AI coding assistant, for $60 billion in an all-stock transaction announced on June 16, 2026. The deal follows SpaceX's June 12 IPO and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026 subject to regulatory approval. Cursor would become a wholly owned subsidiary of SpaceX.
