A Realmeter survey commissioned by EKN newspaper shows President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating at 59.5%, down 2.7 percentage points and ending seven consecutive weeks above 60% since mid-March. The decline is attributed to reduced support among centrists and vulnerable groups amid rising oil and consumer prices affecting livelihoods. Negative assessments rose to 35%, while the ruling Democratic Party's approval also fell by 2.7 points.
