A South Korean appellate court ruled that SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won must transfer 944 billion won, equivalent to approximately $644 million, to his former wife Roh Soh-yeong as asset division. The Seoul High Court decision on July 24 included SK Inc. shares in the division, awarding Roh one-third of the marital property after the Supreme Court remanded the case. Chey initiated divorce proceedings in 2017 following his 2015 admission of an extramarital relationship.
