Mitch McConnell, the 84-year-old U.S. senator from Kentucky and longest-serving Senate party leader, was admitted to a hospital on Sunday morning. His office stated he is receiving excellent care. McConnell previously spent eight days in the hospital in February for flu-like symptoms and experienced multiple falls in 2023.
