Russia's Supreme Court ordered the opposition party Yabloko removed from the ballot for the upcoming parliamentary election following an appeal by a pro-Kremlin party. Yabloko had been the only registered opposition party opposing Russia's military operation in Ukraine and had campaigned on slogans calling for a ceasefire and against nuclear war. The Central Election Commission had initially approved its registration last month.
