Framing Analysis
Russia conducted a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine on July 30 using more than 70 missiles and approximately 280 drones, with Ukrainian defenses intercepting most but not all incoming weapons. Eight people were killed and dozens injured, primarily in Kyiv and Lviv, while Poland scrambled jets following reports of possible airspace violation. Zelensky requested additional anti-ballistic missiles from allies, and the EU condemned the strikes.
