A Dublin jury unanimously convicted Riad Bouchaker of attempted murder of three children and related assaults on November 23, 2023, at Parnell Square. The five-year-old girl victim sustained life-limiting brain injuries requiring 24-hour care, while two other children received superficial injuries and a childcare worker was stabbed. Bouchaker was also convicted of producing a 36cm knife and intentionally inflicting serious harm.
