Iranian sources reported that Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei directed retention of the country's enriched uranium inside Iran rather than allowing export. Israeli officials separately stated that President Trump had assured them the material would leave the country. Iran also asserted expanded control over waters in the Strait of Hormuz reaching into Emirati territory.
