U.S. officials stated that two other tankers had been targeted by Iran in recent days, that Washington had revoked Iran's oil-sales license, and that U.S. forces struck Iranian targets overnight. At least four additional oil and gas tankers turned back from the Strait of Hormuz, and the head of the U.N. shipping agency condemned the attacks.
