Framing Analysis
A Pew Research Center survey of 36 countries and territories conducted from February to May found more respondents holding favorable views of China than the United States in 25 locations, including Canada and Mexico, and more favorable views of Xi Jinping than Donald Trump in 22 locations. The poll marks the first reversal in roughly 20 years of Pew tracking on this measure. Low confidence was reported for both leaders in many countries.
