On a Friday, a Ryanair flight departing Thessaloniki, Greece, bound for Memmingen, Germany, experienced a window shatter from engine debris that partially ejected 61-year-old passenger Ljubisa Karovic. His wife Svetlana Grkovic held his legs while he remained conscious intermittently and kept his seatbelt fastened; two other passengers assisted in pulling him inside. The aircraft returned to Thessaloniki with Karovic sustaining serious injuries including burns and hand trauma.
