The 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games drew 2,056 robots from 16 countries to the National Speed Skating Oval in Beijing for a five-day competition that included sprinting, jumping, football, boxing and tai chi. Chinese-developed robots recorded a 9.39-second 100 m time and a 38.16-second 400 m time in preliminary heats, while a smaller robot completed a 400 m race in 45.66 seconds. The event was covered by two left-center sources.
