Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services data show national ACA marketplace enrollment fell by approximately 3 million people, or 13 percent, since last year. Multiple states including Ohio and Oklahoma recorded losses approaching one-third of prior enrollment. The decline coincides with the expiration of temporary federal subsidies enacted in 2021.
