Framing Analysis
The National Republican Congressional Committee began its first coordinated advertising effort with Rep. Rob Bresnahan (R-PA), spending $81,000 on two ads airing for approximately one week. The campaign follows a Supreme Court decision that lifted prior limits on party-candidate coordinated spending, previously set at $65,000 for most House races by the Federal Election Commission. Bresnahan faces Democrat Paige Cognetti in the November election and has drawn scrutiny over 2025 stock trades by his financial adviser.
