According to the New York Post, 5-year-old Justin Vu of Denver died after developing symptoms of Systemic Capillary Leak Syndrome while on a family vacation in Oregon. The report states his mother took him to a hospital on July 3 after symptoms progressed, and he died five days later following ICU care and life support. Fewer than 500 cases of the condition have been documented worldwide since the 1960s.
