Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a new terminal at Jodhpur Airport and launched the Modified UDAN scheme. Both Times of India and The Hindu report the terminal cost Rs 480 crore, covers more than 23,000 square metres, handles up to 20 lakh passengers annually, and draws architectural inspiration from Rajasthan's royal heritage. The scheme allocates Rs 28,840 crore over ten years to develop 100 aerodromes.
