Microsoft exceeded analyst estimates for Azure revenue growth and Intelligent Cloud segment results in its fiscal fourth quarter ending June 30. Azure grew 43% year-over-year to surpass $100 billion in annual revenue, while Microsoft 365 Copilot reached over 30 million paid seats and cloud backlog rose to $678 billion. Company profits increased 31% and shares rose about 2% in after-hours trading.
