Polling stations opened on Saturday in Malta for a snap parliamentary election called one year early by Prime Minister Robert Abela of the Labour Party. Over 341,000 eligible voters are participating in the EU's smallest and most densely populated member state, with preliminary results expected Sunday afternoon.
